PitMaster Memo: Why Dill Pickles?
Have you ever wondered why dill pickles often appear on chicken sandwiches? It’s because the acidity brings brightness to chicken. It cleanses your palate while also increasing the flavor profile.
Chicken can become heavy, and pickle juice prevents that. The crispiness of the pickle provides a textural difference. It’s food chemistry at its best.
